 Automaticon 2016 - Time for Resume

Next edition of the International Automation and Measurements Trade Fair Automaticon 2016 is over – it’s time for resume.

We thank all of you who visited our stand in the number of more than 100 delegations from different companies. We were pleased to share with you the knowledge on our solutions for automation and MES systems.

The smaller exhibition space, and thus the smaller number of exhibitors and stands was evident at this year fair. But it absolutely did not translated into number of visitors of our company. ASKOM enjoyed exceptional interest, sometimes we were not able even to devote necessary attention to all our guests - now we apologize for that. Such a great popularity may result from the fact of granting to us the prestigious title of the „2015 Year Systems Integrator” by the renowned magazine Control Engineering Poland.

The interest in MES/MOM systems exceeded our expectations. It resulted in over a dozen interesting contacts, which should give a real chance to establish cooperation and to offer our solutions to companies which are in the selection process of these class systems.

This year promotional activities and interest of visitors focused on our SCADA system - Asix. A lot of questions concerned implementation of Asix to realize the functionality of production management in the areas of collection of data on machine working time and downtime, all these with retrieving data directly from the automation level. An absolute success was mobile version of Asix – Asix Mobile which enables creating a fully functional interface for visualization and object control with use of smartphones and tablets. The method of creation and operation of the graphical interface has been fully adapted for use on devices with small screens. The special version of Asix system – Asix4WAGO dedicated to WAGO controllers for easy development of BMS (Building Management Systems), also enjoyed unflagging interest. All this gives us impetus to further development of the Asix software, enriching it with new solutions to meet requirements of our current and potential customers, which number increases from year to year. We are pleased to report that in 2015 Asix sales increased by 40%. Thank you for that!
