  Recap of a scientific and technical conference PROCESS AUTOMATION

The 11th edition of the PROCESS AUTOMATION conference, a major event for the entire industry, was held on 7-8 September 2017, in Kraków, under the auspices of SIEMENS. A follow-up to previous editions entitled Control Systems in Process Automation, the conference is a multi-discipline discussion forum dedicated to the issues of adaptation of the latest production process automation and optimisation solutions, especially the recent trends in the digitisation process under the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0), for the domestic industry.

Obviously, representatives of ASKOM, the only certified Partner of SIEMENS Industry Software in Poland, which provides a complete portfolio of manufacturing management products (MOM) e.g. MES, QMS/LIMS and APS system, could not miss the PROCESS AUTOMATION conference.

Our colleague, Krzysztof Górka, MOM Team Leader, gave a presentation devoted to the “Integration of manufacturing management systems MES/MOM and SIMATIC PCS7/Batch, using the TIA technology” - a globally unique solution by SIEMENS for the creation of comprehensive systems which enable both the manufacturing process management (MES) and control (PCS) on a joint integrated platform at the same time.
