Switching Station Control and Monitoring Systems Switching station control and monitoring systems offered by ASKOM since 1998 use possibilities of programmable logic controllers (PLC) and special security controllers, monitored from the level of operator stations, equipped with asix SCADA system. Standard tasks of visualization, alarming and supervisory control are extended in those systems by special operator notepad, which allows making notices for connecting operations, repairs, replacements etc. and technical database providing on-line information on devices included in switching station.	01.01.2002
Environment Protection Systems ASKOM has developed and implemented in many plants a system for pollution emission visualization and reporting, based on a common concept for such applications. Key features of this concept are, among other things, compatibility with requirements for monitoring systems by current law regulations in force, use of asix visualization system as a flexible platform for execution of system functions, emission data acquisition from specialized emission analyzers taking into consideration the evaluation of data credibility and availability of long-term history of key data.
